The Beach or “Beaches” highlights Toronto’s sandy beaches. The boardwalk plays host to strollers, dog walkers, cyclists and any people-powered mode of transportation. The main street features a wide-array of charming locally run shops, restaurants and bars creating a friendly small town atmosphere. Annually in July, The Beaches International Jazz Festival turns every street corner and park into a stage for local bands.
